Is Ohmly a subscription?

No. Ohmly Pro is a single one-time purchase — pay once and it’s yours, with no recurring fees, ever.

What does the free version include, and what does Pro unlock?

Free includes daily practice questions with cited explanations and one full timed mock exam. Ohmly Pro unlocks unlimited timed mock exams, the full calculation trainer, and every license level, state, and NEC code edition.

Which exams and code editions does Ohmly cover?

Ohmly covers Residential, Journeyman, and Master preparation, with questions you can filter by jurisdiction and NEC edition (2017, 2020, and 2023). Pick your license level and jurisdiction in onboarding or in Settings.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your iPhone. Ohmly has no account and no servers, so your study history never leaves your device.

How do I move my progress to a new iPhone?

Restoring your new iPhone from an encrypted Finder/iTunes or iCloud device backup carries your Ohmly data across. To re-activate your purchase, tap Restore Purchases in Settings.

I reinstalled the app — how do I get my purchase back?

Open Settings in the App and tap Restore Purchases. Your Ohmly Pro unlock is tied to your Apple Account and will be restored at no charge.

I think an answer is wrong, or I found a bug.

Is Ohmly affiliated with the NFPA or my licensing board?

No. Ohmly is an independent study aid. Its questions are original material that reference NEC article numbers for educational purposes only; the App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFPA, ICC, or any state licensing board. Always verify requirements against the code edition adopted by your jurisdiction.
