Is Throb a subscription?

No. Throb is a single one-time purchase — pay once and it's yours, with no recurring fees, ever.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your iPhone. Throb has no account and no servers, so your migraine history never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.

How do I move my data to a new iPhone?

Restoring your new iPhone from an encrypted Finder/iTunes or iCloud device backup carries your Throb data across. You can also export your full history as JSON or CSV from Settings to keep your own copy.

How do I create a report for my doctor?

Throb generates a neurologist-ready PDF report, including a MIDAS summary and your pain-location map. Open your History / Reports and tap Export to create and share it.

Weather isn't showing up.

The weather feature is optional and off by default. Turn it on in Settings and allow location access when prompted. Live weather also needs a supported device with WeatherKit; if it isn't available, Throb falls back to your device's barometric-pressure sensor.

I reinstalled the app — how do I get my data and purchase back?

If you have an on-device backup, use Settings › Restore to bring your entries back. To re-activate your purchase on a new device, tap Restore Purchases.

How do I lock the app?

Throb supports Face ID / Touch ID app lock. Enable it in Settings.
