Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Solace has no sign-up and no login. Everything you log is stored on your iPhone.

Is logging free?

Yes, forever. Symptom, hot-flash, period, mood, sleep, medication and tracker logging are free, along with your stage estimate, symptom score (MRS), your first doctor report, CSV export and backups. Solace Plus adds every pattern insight, trend dashboards, unlimited doctor reports, guided programs, Ask Solace, the full library and Apple Health import.

How does the free trial work?

The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Solace reminds you two days before it ends. Cancel any time in iPhone Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions — your logs stay free either way.

How do I restore my purchase?

Tap Restore on the Solace Plus screen, or Settings › Restore purchases.

How do I move my data to a new iPhone or iPad?

In Solace, open Settings › Your data › Back up my data and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. On the new device, choose Restore from a backup. Restoring adds what’s missing and never overwrites. Restoring your whole iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup also brings Solace’s data across.

I don’t have periods (hysterectomy, surgical menopause, IUD). Can I use Solace?

Yes. Choose your cycle status in onboarding or Settings. Solace then estimates your stage from symptoms instead of cycles, and hides period logging you don’t need.

How do I log from Apple Watch?

Open Solace on your watch and tap Hot flash or Night sweat, or add the Solace complication to your watch face. Taps reach your iPhone automatically.

What are night-sweat hints?

If you wear Apple Watch to sleep and turn on Settings › Apple Health › Night-sweat hints, Solace compares last night’s wrist temperature with your usual and asks whether you had night sweats. It never logs anything for you.

Is Solace medical advice?

No. Solace is a tracking and education tool, not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose or treat. Please talk to your healthcare provider about your health.
